Home Page BEING A DOCTORAL STUDENT

To be enrolled in a doctoral programme, the candidate must hold a national master’s degree or another degree conferring the grade of master, following a training programme establishing his/her aptitude for research.

If this diploma requirement is not met, the head of the institution may, by way of derogation and on the proposal of the doctoral school board, enrol in the doctoral programme students who have completed studies of an equivalent level abroad or who have benefited from the validation of prior learning provided for in the Education Code.

Enrolment in the doctoral programme is decided by the head of the establishment on the basis of a proposal from the director of the doctoral school after receiving the opinion of the thesis director and the director of the research unit.

It is equivalent to admission to the courses offered by the doctoral school.

Registration must be renewed at the beginning of each academic year.
