Scope

MIIS ED manages the Normandy doctoral students preparing their thesis in the following disciplines: Mathematics, Information, Systems Engineering

MIIS Doctoral School is specialised in various fields attached to the following sections of the National Council of Universities (CNU):

• Mathematics (fundamental and applied), CNU section 25 and 26
• Information Science and Technology, CNU 27  and 61
• Systems Engineering Sciences, CNU 27  and 61
• Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Photonics and Systems CNU Section 63

MIIS PhD students carry out their thesis in one of the 9 laboratories in the region in the above-mentioned fields. These laboratories are located throughout Normandy, mainly in Caen, Rouen and Le Havre.

IN CAEN:

• the LMNO in Caen (Nicolas Oresme Mathematics Laboratory)
• the GREYC in Caen (Research Group in Computer Science, Image, Automation and Instrumentation of Caen)
• the LIS in Caen (Systems engineering laboratory)

IN ROUEN:

• the LMRS in Rouen (Raphaël Salem Mathematics Laboratory)
• the LMI in Rouen (Mathematics Laboratory)
• IRSEEM in Rouen (Institute for Research in Embedded Electronic Systems)
• the LITIS site in Rouen (Laboratory of Computer Science, Information Processing and Systems)
• The GR2IF in Rouen (Rouen Research Group in Fundamental Computer Science)

IN LE HAVRE:

• the LITIS site in Le Havre (Laboratory of Computer Science, Information Processing and Systems)
• the LMAH in Le Havre (Laboratory of Applied Mathematics of Le Havre)
