Mandatory training

The decree on doctoral studies requires all doctoral students to take a course on scientific integrity and research ethics. The doctoral school has chosen to require these two courses in the first year of doctoral studies. The doctoral school also requires all first-year doctoral students to take a course on ‘combating gender-based and sexual violence’.

Several options are available for completing the scientific integrity and research ethics training courses:

• a face-to-face course offered by the CED (see the training catalogue on Sygal) for ethics and another for scientific integrity
• MOOC: Scientific Integrity in Research Professions (Bordeaux)
• MOOC: Research Ethics (Lyon)

MOOC training course on ‘combating sexual and gender-based violence’:

• Gender-based violence: STOP
• GenderChampions
• A three-part training course is offered by the CED (see the training catalogue on Sygal)
