Mandatory training

The decree on doctoral studies requires all doctoral students to take a course on scientific integrity and research ethics. The doctoral school has decided that these two courses must be taken in the first year of doctoral studies. The doctoral school also requires all first-year doctoral students to take a course on ‘combating gender-based and sexual violence’.

Several options are available for taking the scientific integrity and research ethics training courses:

• a face-to-face course offered by the CED (see the training catalogue in Sygal) for research ethics and another for scientific integrity
• MOOC: Scientific Integrity in Research Professions (Bordeaux)
• MOOC: Research Ethics (Lyon)

MOOC training course on ‘combating sexual and gender-based violence’:

• Gender-based violence: STOP
• GenderChampions
• A three-part training course is offered by the CED (see the training catalogue in Sygal)
