Doctoral School MIIS brings together research centers in Mathematics, information science and technology, systems engineering science.

 

About 170 PhD students are enrolled in one of the following institues :

  • University of Rouen Normandie
  • University of Le Havre Normandie
  • University of Caen Normandie
  • INSA Rouen Normandie

 

Thesis are prepared under the supervision of 150 professors, or associate professors (HDR) within 10 Research Units.

 

After a three years graduate program, the graduates have edge skills in the following fields :

  • fundamental and applied mathematics
  • information sciences and technology
  • systems engineering science

 

It reinforces the synergies between the two NormaSTIC and Normandy Mathematics federations and is associated with the scientific areas of regional competitiveness or excellence poles (TES, Mov’eo, Nov @ log).

Because of its positioning, the scientific themes of ED MIIS have a strong socio-economic impact. The trained doctor will be able to pursue a career with significant levels of responsibility and expertise in the public, private, national and international sectors.

The ED develops an offer of training as well scientific and disciplinary as professionalizing.
