The MIIS Doctoral School recruits an average of 60 doctoral students per year: about 28 at the Caen site, 26 at the Rouen site and 6 in Le Havre.

♦ The average duration of theses is currently 41 months (SIREDO 2022).

  • Engineering Sciences: 16%
  • Mathematics: 27%
  • Computer science: 57%

All doctoral students at the MIIS Doctoral School are funded. The distribution of doctoral students by type of funding is as follows:

  • Normandy region: 24%
  • Institutional endowment (EPSCP (university), EPST, EPA, EPIC): 24%
  • ANRT-DIGITS : 18%
  • NAV: 12%
  • International : 10%
  • Other: 6%

♦ MIIS PhD students have obtained their Master’s degree (or equivalent) for 1/3 in Normandy, 1/3 in other regions of France, and 1/3 abroad.
