The MIIS ED ensures the management of Normandy doctoral students preparing their thesis in the following disciplines: Mathematics, Information, Systems Engineering

The MIIS Doctoral School specialises in various fields attached to sections of the National Council of Universities (CNU). The main areas are:

• Mathematics (fundamental and applied), CNU section 25 and 26
• Information Science and Technology, CNU 27  and 61
• Systems Engineering Sciences, CNU 27  and 61

MIIS PhD students carry out their thesis in one of the 9 laboratories in the region working in the above-mentioned fields. These laboratories are located throughout Normandy, mainly in Caen, Rouen and Le Havre.

IN CAEN:

• the GREYC in Caen (Research Group in Computer Science, Image, Automation and Instrumentation of Caen)
